Monday morning we awarded the first “senior” graduate of our I. Pensionary University.
Throughout the series the lecturers asked quiz questions regarding their respective topics for the students who heard and watched them, and we had been receiving the answers until mid-January. Among those who have answered each question correctly we drew the winner who received a pack of books and a symbolic certificate verifying their attendance and completion of Pensionary University.
Dr. Frank Rose, the winning student explained that she enjoyed each lecture, especially the one given by Zsuzsanna Horváth, who in her presentation discussed questions about Szentgotthárd’s history. She also found the other three lectures rather useful and interesting. She promised to follow the coming lectures just as eagerly as these.
Director of Muraba, Bálint Papp has thanked the “successful examinee” that she followed our presentations and congratulated her as the first graduate. The director also thanked the lecturers who guaranteed the high standard of the series. The lectures are to be continued this year, the topics are still in development.
